He was born on 28th January, 1992 and is an Indian stand-up comedian and rapper by profession.
Early Life of Munawar Faruqui :
Taking a sneak peak into his early life, we get to know that his father was under huge debt, which made him quit his school after 5th class. He worked in a gift shop and later helped his mother and grandmother to make snacks, just to meet the financial needs of the family. Munawar lost his mother to suicide, when he was only 14 years of age, and this changed his life as he shifted to Mumbai. He did different jobs in Mumbai until 2020, when he lost his father to paralysis.
Personal Life and Career :
Faruqui married Jasmin in 2017, but the relationship did not work out and they parted ways in 2022. He had a five year old son with his ex-wife. It has been known through the sources that he was dating the social media influencer, Nazila Sataishi since December 2021. This made Ayesha Khan, his ex-partner, accuse him of being involved with several women. As a result, Nazila broke up with him on 18th december, 2023 during an instagram live accusing him of cheating. He was given the tag of “Womaniser ” by the contestants of Big Boss and the audience.
Munawar’s career began in April 2020, when he got into the limelight because of his standup comedy video called, “Dawood, Yamraj & Aurat”. His debut song, “Jawab” was also released in the same year. Later in 2022, he entered the Kangana Ranaut hosted reality show “Lock Upp” and was declared the winner on 8th May. He also did a punjabi song named “Todh” with Prince Narula and Rony Anjali in that year. He gained major stardom after he joined the Salman Khan hosted reality show “Big Boss : Season 17” and was declared the winner on 28th January 2024.
